Enjoy an evening out with other like-minded women at this Latinas Unidas Holiday Mixer! We will relish some delicious Latino festive food and music, plus we will raffle lots of fun items.
Special speaker for the evening will be Latinas Unidas Madrina Maribel Torres, owner of Perfect Nutrition, who will talk about women health and wellness in the New Year.
Our holiday spirit doesn’t end here, though. As it's our tradition for our last Cafe con Leche of the year, we have teamed up with local charity “Dress for Success Rochester”. So now we seek your help toharness the power of women. It’s a good time of year to clean out our closet for any items that Santa may be bringing us this year!
We are specifically seeking for gently used, nearly-new professional attire (interview-appropriate) for women who want to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression and land a job that could change their life. Item such as:
- Clothing accessories (scarfs, belts)
- Handbags (work appropriate handbag and totes)
- Work-appropriate shoes (dress boots/flats/pumps), closed toe and back
- Jewelry (earrings and necklaces)
For more information about items you can donate you can visit their website:
We look forward to seeing you at our event. Thank you for celebrating the holidays with us! Hurry and click here to register online, as space is limited!
